This motion graphic reinterprets Otto Dix’s Der Krieg, a series of prints confronting the horrors of war. Using only imagery from the original works, the animation layers stop-motion-inspired movement and aged textures to echo the raw, tactile quality of the source material. The result is a one-minute piece that honors Dix’s message while adapting his static prints into a narrative of motion and atmosphere.
